Stage 1 Notes
This page lists stocks that repeatedly come up on my stock screens, or stocks that have a story developing. If any of these stocks make a significant move then I will move them to "Stage 2 Notes" page in preparation to make a trade. I'm still trying to figure out how to put tables in my blog. Until then, I'll just list the stocks the old fashion way.

The List

• Google (GOOG) - sleeping stock. Waiting for it to wake up.
• Verasun (VSE) - IPO hit by Cramer's comments. Rise in energy costs will help this stock.
• Smith Micro (SMSI) - The Russell 2000's clear winner
• Knology (KNOL) - a popular pick by many investors
• General Motors (GM) - a beautiful turnaround story in the making. Need revenues to explode.
• Fronteer Development Group (FRG) - waiting for mining in Turkey and China.
• Services International (SVI) - waiting for stock to change name to "Jamba Juice"
• Medifast (MED) - waiting for Acomplia to destroy this stock, as well NutriSystems (NTRI).
• XM Satellite (XMSR) - how will the community respond to their Inno's ability to download songs from the radio?
• Apple (AAPL) - waiting for Jobs to make a move. A new jaw-dropping iPod phone would be a nice move.
• XTO Energy (XTO) - energy companies are consolidating, XTO would be a good target.
• Bodisen Biotech (BBC) - no other company quite like this, just nailed a good contract, but volume is still small. Next earnings could be good.
• Baidu (BIDU) - Google sold their stake. What's Baidu's next move? It's win or go home for Baidu.
• Elan (ELN) - any news or rumor on PML and I'm shorting Elan with both fists.
• Exelis (EXEL) - Motely Fool's bet the farm on this company, so I'm waiting to see if any of their cancer drugs rocks the pharmaceutical world.
